Amina a German, Egyptian waterwoman whose life has been intertwined with the Ocean from the very beginning. Growing up in the family owned diving center in Egypt, she developed an early and profound love for the ocean. The salty water is more than just a medium, its her home, her source of inspiration and her place of complete comfort. From a very young age Amina immersed herself in the art of free diving and scuba diving, learning about the secrets of the underwater world while cultivating a deep respect and admiration for its beauty and committing to protect and preserve it.

Moving to Germany to study and eventually work as a refugee consultant made her understand the importance of social sustainability among gaining great life experience, but she always felt the pull of the ocean and a longing to make it the center of her life again.

The Huchu is the perfect vessel to make this possible, it’s the platform, the base, the home on the water that gives her the chance to further her knowledge, gain more experience and fulfil her desire to give back to her most cherished place.

On this collaborative quest to a more sustainable future she will never forget the importance of social sustainability. We cannot develop solutions that only work for a few. For a healthier future everybody form everywhere with every background or social status should have the chance to contribute.

The Vision is clear: combining meaningful conservation work with adventures above and below the water.
